Oak Cottage is at Quinta das Palmeiras which is in the village of Loureira, approx 20km North of Tomar and 5 km south of Alvaiázere Google Earth / GPS location 39°46'48"N and 8°23'16"W From Lisbon: Follow A1 Norte to Jnc 7, turn onto A23 towards Abrantes. After approx. 18km turn off onto IC3 for Tomar (watch out it is immediately after IC3 Entroncamento turning). Follow IC3 North (becoming N110) for approx. 35km. Take 1st turning for Alvaiázere after you have gone through Pereiro. After 3km you will see a Castle-like house at Cortiça, at the crossroads turn left to Louriera. You will find Quinta das Palmeiras on the right after 1 km, it is opposite the Bus Stop. |
